Abstract

The torch has a housing comprising body and head, containing a power source and bulb respectively. A first bulb terminal is permanently connected to one terminal of the source, and a switch controls the connection between the other terminals. The switch comprises a slide (3) working in a slot in the housing and a metal blade (4), one end of which is bent to form a spring (16) bearing against the bottom of the body and the second terminal of the current source (6). The other end of the blade is divided into two tongues, one of which (14) bears against the slide, while the other is thrust, in position of the slide, against the second terminal of the bulb.
