Abstract

L'invention concerne une douille de support radialement expansible pour un manchon tubulaire. Selon l'invention la douille a plusieurs barres 51 s'étendant axialement et venant en contact avec le manchon 22, qui sont placées sur son corps 27 pour un mouvement radial limité entre une position de repos où les surfaces externes des barres 51 sont sur un cylindre d'un diamètre inférieur au diamètre interne du manchon 22 pour qu'il puisse y être monté, et des positions externes, elles engagent par frottement la surface interne du manchon 22, au moins une vessie annulaire et fermée 32, 33 est montée sur le corps avec lequel elle peut tourner, et sa paroi externe engage radialement des parties internes de toutes les barres 51, des passages d'air 46, 47, 48, 49 relient la vessie à une source d'air à une pression super-atmosphérique, qui dilate la paroi externe de la vessie pour solliciter les barres en contact de transmission de couple avec la surface interne du manchon. L'invention s'applique notamment à l'industrie des fibres de verre.
