Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à comprimer des plantes en ballots. Il comprend une chambre de compression 6 et un mécanisme d'alimentation 8 qui introduit les plantes dans une ouverture de la chambre le compression. Un espace auxiliaire 16 placé au voisinage de la chambre 6 reçoit les plantes apportées par le mécanisme 8 et un organe transporteur 10 qui fait passer les plantes de l'espace auxiliaire jusque dans la chambre. Le dispositif de l'invention peut fonctionner en continu même avec de grandes quantités de plantes.
