Abstract

Procédé pour détecter et prélocaliser une rupture de gaine dans un réacteur nucléaire à neutrons rapides. Le procédé consiste à effectuer une mesure directe des neutrons retardés dans l'écoulement du réfrigérant du réacteur, à l'intérieur même de la cuve contenant ce réfrigérant Le procédé permet notamment de mesurer le flux des neutrons dans la totalité du spectre et non plus seulement dans la zone des neutrons thermalisés par la traversée de matériaux ralentisseurs.
