Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation du chlorhydrate de 2,6-xylylide de l'acide N-méthylpipéridine-2-carboxylique. Le 2,6-xylylide d'acide picolinique est hydrogéné dans le noyau de pyridine en présence d'acide chlorhydrique avec formation du chlorhydrate de xylylide d'acide pipéridine-carboxylique qui est ensuite méthyle par réduction catalytique en présence de formaldéhyde. Le 2,6-xylylide d'acide N-méthylpipéridine-2-carboxylique est un anesthésique local.
