Abstract

L'invention se rapporte au génie chimique. Elle concerne un procédé pour traiter des liqueurs effluentes alcalines aqueuses contenant des composés du soufre, qui comprend les opérations suivantes : on reconstitue thermiquement la liqueur dans une chambre de combustion 28 pour produire un produit de combustion gazeux ayant de fines particules de matière entraînées en son sein, et on envoie le produit de combustion provenant de cette chambre à travers un laveur à gaz 34 dans lequel le produit de combustion est refroidi brusquement et la matière particulaire passe en solution aqueuse, caractérisé en ce que la reconstitution thermique est conduite sous une atmosphère réductrice. Utilisation, en particulier, dans un procédé d'élimination de H2 S et HCN d'u milieu gazeux.
