Abstract

The control is for low power DC motors normally used to drive machine and vehicle accessries such as vehicle lights. Control of the motor is via a double cam on a common shaft which provides a reduction gearing effect, the motor and double cam having a mechanical coupling between them. The first of the two cams has a single raised area driving 'n' invertor switches. T'e second cam has 'n' such raised areas operating a single switch. The cam driven switches provide position sending and control and interconnect witha rotary control switch, the wiper arm of which connects '2n' fixed contacts on opposite sides of the switch.
