Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système dans lequel, au moyen d'une technique d'auto-adaptation, on peut effectuer l'effacement des échos indésirables provenant d'obstacles animés d'une certaine vitesse relative par rapport au radar. Le système est constitué par un effaceur du type conventionnel, ayant à une de ses entrées une référence constante égale à 1, et à l'autre entrée une référence variable de façon auto-adaptable c'est-à-dire de manière à annuler, à chaque instant, la réponse en fréquence de l'effaceur, pour une valeur de la fréquence de battement égale à la fréquence moyenne des échos indésirables. Le but fondamental est d'effectuer l'effacement des échos indésirables, soit à des obstacles fixes par rapport au radar, soit à des obstacles doués d'une vitesse relative non nulle.The present invention relates to a system in which, by means of a self-adaptation technique, it is possible to perform the erasure of unwanted echoes originating from animated obstacles of a certain relative speed with respect to the radar. The system consists of an eraser of the conventional type, having at one of its inputs a constant reference equal to 1, and at the other input a variable reference in a self-adapting manner, that is to say so as to cancel, at each instant, the frequency response of the eraser, for a value of the beat frequency equal to the mean frequency of the unwanted echoes. The fundamental aim is to erase unwanted echoes, either at obstacles fixed with respect to the radar, or at obstacles endowed with a non-zero relative speed.
