Abstract

The transmitter has a timing circuit which uses an LED which actuates two NPN or PNP transistors (T1, T2). The bases of the transistors (T1) (T2) are separated by diodes (D1 and D2). The circuit is designed to have a low battery current conduction when the LED contact is closed or open. The receiver of the conventional superheterodyne type with an amplifier used as a limiter connected to an integrated circuit decoder. It has a signal sampling synchronising circuit, a reference signal oscillator, low and high pass RC filters. It also has a reference signal comparator, logic gate and 'ALL or Nothing' transistor switch. At the output of the decoder is a parasitic signal limiter.
