Abstract

Mesure de la hauteur du niveau d'une masse de matière par émission sonore ou ultrasonore et réception de l'écho. Au lieu de mesurer le temps écoulé entre le début de l'émission et celui de la réception (transducteur 5), on prolonge la durée de l'impulsion émise et l'on mesure le temps entre sa fin et celle de l'écho, ce qui limite les risques d'influence de bruits parasites. On peut en outre moduler l'émission, notamment en fréquence, pour éliminer davantage les erreurs dues à ceux-ci. Application aux réservoirs ou aux entassements de matériaux sur une aire de stockage
