Abstract
The rotation retarding system for a bogie mounting, with variable outward turn resistance, is esp. suitable for railway rolling-stock. Here the outward turn resistance in the bogie mounting running is actively variable. Where there are one or more rotation retarding units (4) connecting the bogie mounting (2) and superimposed vehicle frame (3) in a transverse direction, each can take the form of a unit which is regulated in the sense of a defined slip-checked movement or force transmission. It can be an electromagnetic friction coupling or other regulated form-locked coupling. Resistance for prescribed stability criteria is adaptable to every speed, ore ven to oscillation ratio.
