Abstract

A low tension circuit breaker with automotive and manual actuating mechanisms comprises a two part lidded box (10) divided into two compartment by an integrally moulded wall (16). A vertically extending steel support plate carries the actuating mechanism of which the priority active member is a hook shaped locking arm (32) made of plastic. A pin link (34) connects this to the operating lever (30) moving about pivot (36) and a bed spring (44) engages the hooked locking arm (32).
