Abstract

The equestrian toy is intended for a young child and is in the form of a hobby horse. It comprises a model horse's head (1), moulded from plastic and painted, terminating at the neck. The extremity is covered by a pad (2) of foam or similar material to prevent injury if the child falls over. A leather or fabric belt (3) passes through a slot in the end of the neck. This belt is adjustable and secures the head around the child's waist. A harness (4) is provided around the head and a set of reins (5), made from cord, is fastened to the harness.
