Abstract

The padded safety cot is secured to a tubular frame (12) by the straps (9). The frame is in turn strapped to the front passenger seat by the existing car seat belt (1). The feet (4) of the frame are turned out towards the ends of the cot, and they may optionally be embedded in a mould plastics base. The feet on each side of the cot may be at different levels to compensate for the contour of the seat.
