Abstract

The articulated linkage is fitted to a folding skylight, enabling this to be opened and closed, using a suitable located handle. It comprises two rods folding about a common centre aligned with that of the window. The lower rod carries the handle lever and the upper rod carries a clevis on the arm. This arm is on a sleeve sliding on a spring loaded rod. This is on a baseplate fixed to a window upright, the arm moving in a slot to compensate for linkage differences in operation. The arm also carries a vertical rod penetrating a recess to lock the window.
