Abstract

An anti-theft carrier for a motor cyclist's helmet is a wire cage, attached at the top to the handlebars (9) and with a loop (13,16) at the bottom which fits around the rim and type (3) of the front wheel. The cage has curved arms (22) matching the curve of the helmet (11) in side view, and a loop (10) around the helmet in plan view. The tops of the arms fit round the handlebars to form a pivot and the bottom of the loop extends downwards to form the upper part (13) of the wheel loop. A V shaped piece (16) forms the lower part of the wheel loop, and the two parts are secured by a padlock (19).
