Abstract

The mobile stand has two telescopic legs (4) with two horizontal platforms (5, 7) at vertical intervals, and may be used to support data processing modules. One (7) of the platforms locates at the top and may support a screen with input keyboard (9). The other platform (5) locates at approx. mid-height and may support a print-out module (13). The arrangement enables the platforms (5,7) to be set at a fixed relative vertical interval but at alternative heights for operation in the sitting or standing positions. The top platform (7) may also be elevated individually or pivoted to give maintenance access to the print out module (13). Each leg may comprise two interfitting slotted box sections (2, 4) with the inner member (2) fixed to a wheeled (3) base (1). The platforms (5, 7) are mounted on the outer sliding member (4) which may be set at a desired height by a locking pin (10) in member holes. A third inner telescopic member (16) may be used to elevate the top platform (3).
