Abstract
The lockable contact system has at least one stationary and one moving contact. The locking lever is used to prevent contact recoil. The locking lever (17) moves from its rest position by the breaking movement of the moving contact (11), and is hingeably mounted at one side. Over its path into the locking position it is first guided by the locking mechanism. After the breaker shaft has struck a counter bearing (20) it is projected into its locking position and engaged there behind a blocking stud (18), in order to prevent a recoil movement. Preferably the locking stud is in the form of a link motion. The locking lever may be guided by the lock mechanism in such manner as to bring a shoulder against a part of the mechanism in one rotary direction, while in the other direction the lever is freely movable.
