Abstract

The machine is used for working wood by means of cutting tools mounted on arbors. It comprises a horizontal slide perpendicular to the feed direction. On this is a carriage, with a slide perpendicular to the first. Another carriage is on this second slide, having a plate rotating about an axis parallel to the feed. This rotary plate has a diametral slide for a shaft holder carrying the cutting tool and rotated by an electric motor. It can be positioned vertically at front or rear of the machine. It may also be positioned horizontally, above or below the table.
