Abstract

An electrically heated evaporator incorporates a tubular body, and a hollow head. The body is a poor conductor of heat. It has a conical enlargement at its top. The head which is thermally inert, rests on the enlargement, and carries an electrical heating element which projects into the body, and vapour outlet pipes. Inside the head is a thermostat at controlling the element, and an indicator lamp. On the head is a translucent cap through which the lamp can be seen. The evaporator can be fitted to different receivers and is partic. useful for evaporating liq. deodorants, bactericides, insecticides, perfumes, etc. It allows automatics control of operating sequences, sepd. by periods of stoppage.
