Abstract

The seat (3) with a reclining backrest (2) may be for use by automobile drivers and inc. demountable cushions (5, 6) which are attached to the backrest (2) to give dorsal support. Two cushions (5, 6) may be deployed, forming convexities in the lumbar (5) and cervical (6) regions, and are attached to the back rest (2) so as to be adjustable for height. The cushions (5, 6) may be attached by auto-gripping adhesive strips which are attached to the conjunctive faces of cushion (5, 6) and back rest (2). The cushions (5, 6) may have plane rear faces, convex external faces, and attach to plane back rest surface areas. The back rest may inc. recesses (10, 11) normally covered by fabric with sliding clasp fasteners, and provided to accommodate the cushions (5, 6) when not in use.
