Abstract
The collector has a rectangular casing (4) in which a sheet of glass (3) is held by gaskets (6). The casing is attached to the main frame (7) by clips (31). The main frame has a flat base (9) of highly reflective metal which carries a thick layer (8) of insulating mineral which in turn is covered by a thin foil (5) of highly reflective metal. The absorber itself (1) is placed between this and the glass cover (3). It is formed from two corrugated sheet welded together to form waterways between them.
