Abstract

Conveyor comprises a chassis mounted on wheels and carrying an endless conveyor track which can move suspended carriers in closed circuit between a carrier loading frame at one end of the chassis and an unloading frame at the other end. The loading and unloading frames can both be swung through a limited angle about a vertical axis through a hinged connection to the main longitudinal frame of the conveyor track, so that loading or unloading frame can be set at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the chassis. Loading and/or unloading frame can be inclined to the horizontal to present a transverse run of conveyor track at one or both ends which is at a different height from that of the longitudinal frame track. Pref. the inclination of an end frame to the horizontal is adjustable. Esp. designed for gathering poultry from long, narrow hen houses of difficult access.
