Abstract

The automatic regulator is for the adjustment of car headlamp inclination in relation to the load carried. At the front of the vehicle are tilting headlamps (7) on a horizontal pivot (8). Each lamp has on its upper part a lug (9) to which is fitted a cable (10) sliding in a guide (11), the free end of which is fixed to the arm lever (4) at the rear of the car. A spring (6) compresses the arm, which then controls the lamp angle via the cable. Alternatively electrical control can be used instead of the cable.
