Abstract

The mower has a two part arm, one (2) being fixed by means of pins (3) to the front part of the tractor. The second part (6) of the arm has two blades (7, 8) at its free end, one (7) of which is fixed, and the other(8) moving. The blade (8) is driven by a shaft (9) mounted inside the arm part (6), coaxially to it. A plate (10) supports a crank pin (12) fitting into a cover (13), a pulley (14) being driven from a pulley on the engine p. t. p. The front end of the arm part (2) has a cover (18) which is open at the front, whilst the back end of the arm part (6) has a cover (19) smaller than the other cover (18), to fit into it. The sides (20,22) of the covers (18, 19) are joined by means of two pins.
