Abstract

Mower is fitted to frame drawn by tractor. Inside the frame a number of teeth in a thin cutter blade cooperate with a number counter teeth in a wear resitant polyamide blade. Cutter blade teeth and counter teeth move continuously in opposit direction and are connected in front of hydraulic tubes supplied via hoses from th etractor P.T.O. Cutter teeth which protrude in front of counter teeth move at a frequency of 25Hz. The frame which supports the hydraulic prssures tubes with the front mounted blade, cover the full width of the mowing area. Cutter blades which may be 1 to 2 mm thick move at 6 cm height above cutting area, and mower mechanism transmission drive includes crank and V belt drive. a swath separator is fitted at the end of the cutter blades.
