Abstract

The support for the signboard has a base placed upon the ground and consisting of a rectangular frame with two lengthwise girders (2a, 2b) joined by two cross-pieces (3a, 3b). The lengthwise girders are in the form of slide-pieces facing towards the frame, and can be made of U-shaped sections. The support for the sign-board has an upright (4) onto the front of which is fixed a panel (1) by means of attachments (5) such as screws. The upright (4) has a base cross-piece (6) the two ends of which fit into the slide-pieces (2a, 2b). The upright (4) is pref a frame with two sides. A prop (7) keeps the upright in a roughly vertical position, and is hinged at one end of the base on an axle (8) parallel to the cross piece (6).
