A road sign or notice board assembly comprises supports 14 each having an inverted U- shaped foot 11 and an upright 12 entering a metal tube 13 attached to the sign or board to permit angular adjustment of the feet. The tube 13 is nearer one limb of the U than the other. The feet and uprights may be of metal rod or tubular metal.
