Abstract

993,354. Stands. J. E. SLATER Ltd. July 30, 1962 [Aug. 3, 1961], No. 28230/61. Heading A4H. A display stand with a base 10 and weight 12, a stem, and wires 19, 20 to hold the base of a container such as a toffee tin has the stem in two tubular telescopic parts 15, 17 to which part 17 can be clamped a collar 23 having opposite V-notches 25 in its under face to engage projections 26 on the upper end of tube 15 and provide alternative angular positions about the vertical axis. In a modification, Fig. 5, the wires 19, 20 are replaced by a plate 29 which receives another plate 33 which is attached to the bottom of a toffee tin or like container.
