Abstract

The invention relates to a device which can be fitted onto a mobile and foldable panel support, making it possible to stabilise this support against air movement. It consists of non-skid blocks 1 placed at the base of the support, a spring system 2 3 absorbing the energy applied onto the vertical part of the support 9. Following movement of air, the panel tilts on its axis of rotation 5, and returns to the initial vertical position under the return effect of the spring 2 when the air movement ceases. A damping spring 3 attenuates the return shock effect due to the spring 2. An automatic locking system 4 makes it possible to rigidly attach the articulated vertical part of the support 9 onto the base. The device according to the invention is in particular intended for stabilising mobile and foldable panel supports (road signalling, advertising signs and pre-informational publicity signs).
