Abstract

1525060 Electronic watches DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 22 Dec 1976 [29 Dec 1975] 53535/76 Heading G3T [Also in Division H1] An electrical switch comprises a rotatable cam 8 having a projection 9' engageable with a contact spring 13 and a projection 9 engageable with a cam spring 10, the arrangement being such that when the cam 8 is rotated by drive means 4 the cam spring 10 is flexed by the cam projection 9 and then moves under its own resilience to apply a rotational force to the cam 8 causing the other projection 9' to move the contact spring 13 into contact with a fixed contact 18, 19. The switch is mounted in an electronic watch having an axially movable and rotatable stem 4 mounting a clutch wheel 1 and a freely rotatable pinion 2 which meshes with a transmission wheel 5 rotatably mounted together with the cam 8 on a pin 6. A pin and slot 16, 17 lost motion mechanism is provided between the transmission wheel 5 and cam 8. When the stem 4 is axially moved to drivingly connect it to the clutch wheel 1, the clutch wheel 1 meshes with the pinion 2 whereby rotation of the stem 4 in one direction causes clockwise rotation of the cam 8 after the lost motion 16, 17 has been taken up. The cam projection 9 is moved past a projection 10a of the spring 10 to cause the latter to flex and then impart a rotational force to the cam 8 which causes the other cam projection 9 to move the contact spring 13 relative to a contact 18. If the cam 8 is rotated anti-clockwise by the stem 4, the cam projection 9' engages the cam spring 10 and the cam projection 9 moves the contact spring 13 into engagement with another fixed contact 19. The contacts 18, 19 are connected to circuits which control time correction and resetting.
