Abstract

A plastics pipe whose walls have opt. a groove profile has integrally moulded branch pieces with sealed ends at regular intervals. The branch pieces subtend a right angle with the axis of the pipe. Used for inexpensive and simple installation of e.g. agricultural or horticultural irrigation systems. There is no need to fit a branch piece e.g. by welding or screwing in at the selected point. As there are sealed branch pieces already in position at regular intervals, all that is required is to cut off the seal at the end of the selected branch piece and connect e.g. to a sprinkler hose, by conventional means.
