Abstract

Medicaments contg. thieno (2,3-c)pyridine (I) or thieno (3,2-c)pyridine (II), or an organic or mineral pharmaceutically acceptable salts are new- (I) and (II) have sedative, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, platelet aggregation inhibiting, and anti-sludge activity. A typical compound is thieno (2,3-c) pyridine salicylate (Ia). Capsules were prepd. contg. 0.10 g (Ia) 0.010 g talc, and 0.005 g magnesium stearate.
