Abstract

A baby bottle has a container for liq. with an outlet. A flexible teat can be attached to it. A removable cap surrounds the teat before use. A closure separates the contents of the bottle and the teat before use. Part of the teat is fixed on a seating surrounding the bottle outlet by an element connected by a tear strip to the cap. The closure is in frictional contact with the inside of the teat. For use the tear strip is removed. The cap while it surrounds the teat is manipulated to free the closure and connect the teat to the bottle. The tear strip is removed using a projection.
