Abstract
The control device (28, 36, 44) is used in a shunting circuit (18). It controls the opening of the mechanical contact (12), diverting the current to the shunting circuit (18). The switching contact (12) control device (28, 36, 44) has an electro-dynamically excited operating element (28, 36). An electronic synchronous control circuit (48) controls the capacitor (42) discharge through a thyristor (44) ignited shortly before zero crossing of the current flowing during the diode (22) conducting phase.
