Abstract

Thyristor controlled electronic switch has a thyristor circuit connected across diode bridge and auxiliary control circuit. The auxiliary control circuit has a thyristor which in the 'switch closed' position permits the passage of load current in an integrating circuit comprising parallel connected capacitor and zener diode in series with a resistance. The auxiliary thyristor is triggered at the start of each load current half cycle by another capacitor connected between it input and control electrodes.
