Abstract

The water is ejected from sprays into the top of the cooling chamber and passes down the latter and mixes with a forced air flow moving in the opposite direction or transverse to the flow of water. There is a collection tank at the bottom of the chamber for the water, so that it can be recycled. Numerous pipes for ambient air flow are located in the collection tank for lowering the water temp. Impurities in the water do not effect the system and the tubes are readily accessible for cleaning.
