Abstract

A container is fabricated from a single sheet of material which is scored and cut at one operation. The base (4) is rectangular and scored down the centre (7), so that it can be folded flat. The two sides are joined to the base at the corners and the carrying handle is in two halves. These are joined together when the box shape is formed. The end pieces have similar shapes and overlap to give a durable material thickness at the ends. The edges may be angled to give the box the required shape.
