Abstract

The extendable trailer is for a car or caravan. It has a box shaped trailer (1) with a chassis (2) carried on an axle (3) with drawgear. The chassis has two longitudinal and two transverse walls all supporting the roof (8). The rear wall is made up of a moving panel (10 joined to the frame by hinges (11). There are further panels (15a) (15b) to complete the side structure and end panels (16a) (16b) (16c) which can slide over each other and under the roof. The whole assembly can be unfolded to extend the caravan volume and when rear props (10a) can be lowered for support.
