1470966 Trailer tents M E WILLIAMS 8 May 1974 [8 May 1973] 21809/73 Heading B7B A camping trailer has a kitchen unit 50 and a bunk 34 which in their erected positions rest on walls of a main frame 12 and which in their stowed positions are wholly within the frame with the bunk above the kitchen unit. The kitchen unit pivots on hinges 62 and in its stowed position rests on the floor 16 of the frames. In its erected condition it does not project over the floor 16. The inboard end of the bunk has rollers 38 running on tracks 40 which have raised end portions to lift the bunk to its resting position on wall 18 as it is withdrawn. A roof 28, which forms the lid of the collapsed trailer, is supported by struts 30 which may be detached from the roof to be pivoted about their lower ends to stowed positions, Fig. 3 (not shown). Alternatively, the roof struts may be permanently attached to both frame and roof and be made of relatively pivotable sections to allow collapse. In a modification, not shown, two bunks are erected from opposite sides of the trailer.
