Abstract

Various implements (34), such as drilling, grinding, cutting and sawing implements and the like, can be interchangeably attached to the drive unit (10) of a powered hand tool. For this purpose, the drive unit (10) and the implement (34) have congruent bearing faces (14, 38) running perpendicularly to the axis of the drive shaft (16). When the bearing faces (14, 38) are placed against one another, a quick-action coupling (24) can be actuated from outside. The quick-action coupling (24) permits mutual connection and release of drive unit (10) and implement (34) in a very quick and simple manner.
