Abstract

The supply circuit, for subscriber circuits in telephone systems, has the collector of a first transistor (TR1) connected via the load resistance (Rx), a base resistor (RB) and a first zener diode (Z1) (in that order) to the base of the same transistor. This transistor's emitter is connected over a first emitter resistor (RE1) to the terminal (A), and the collector-side terminal of the base resistor is connected over a second emitter resistor (RE2) to a second earther terminal (B). Both emitter resistors have the same resistance. The supply voltage (a battery) (US) is applied between the first and second.
