Abstract

Cable forms a bush-type line for a system which comprises a computer connected to the line from which branch of various items of electrical equipment, and which includes means for controlling the equipment using the computer, from several sites along the bush line. The cable comprises a line for supplying the equipment with d.c., a line for transmission of digital information from the computer to the equipment and control means, a line for transmission of digital information from the equipment and control means to the computer, a line for transmission of audio information, and a line for transmission of video information. Pref. when the cable is curved, its min. radius of curvature is not more than 8 times its dia. Pref. the cable contains polyester fibre packing.
