Abstract

Process comprises (a) applying a primary adhesive layer, (b) opt. printing a suitable design on the adhesive layer and (c) applying a coating of polyvinylidene chloride PVDC The polypropylene film, 'P'-film, or paper is first treated with a primary adhesive layer, after which the sheet may if desired by printed with a suitable design. Finally the sheet is coated with PVDC which may e.g. be in emulsion or varnish form. The treatment may be applied to one or both faces of the sheet.
