Abstract

The trailer is used for picking up crops and similar lying on the ground, or for planting out seedlings. These are transported on a low platform carried over two rear wheels. Outrigger type stabilisers are fitted over the rear wheels for use on soft ground, and these can be retracted and removed for road use. The single front wheel is steered by a person walking, by means of tiller bars. This wheel is driven by an internal combustion engine which operates a hydraulic motor through a centrifugal clutch. A tank reservoir, filter, valves and piping are housed in a compartment underneath the platform.
