Abstract

The housing of the pressure monitor has a valve (18) at one end, with the stem (17) of the valve (18) provided with an annular shoulder (16), one surface of which faces the measuring chamber (21) and forms one seat for a flap valve (13). The other face of the shoulder (16) rests on a ledge of the housing (3), and a bore (22) is provided through the valve stem (17) to connect the measuring chamber (21) of the flap valve (13) with the engine cylinder during the pressure monitoring. A sealing ring (24) is provided on the valve stem (17) wiht a coil spring (23) between the sealing ring (24) and the annular shoulder (16).
