Abstract

The bearing block mounting plate (1) is corrugated, with the corrugations running crossways to the tractor chassis. The bearing blocks (3) are provided with flanges which have stepped projections (8) to correspond with the corrugation depressions. The flanges are preferably bolted to the mounting plate. Alternatively the flanges could be secured by welding. The bearing blocks are formed of 'U' shaped sheet metal whose sides are almost parallel and with a bore (11) to receive the coupling unit.
