Abstract

The demountable table for restaurants or offices comprises a leaf top (2), a leaf top support frame (4) and four tubular legs (3). The frame may be square with its ends (4, 5) cut away (4a, 5a) at the corners to partially house the leg section (3), and joined by angle straps (6). Bolts (16) passing through the angle straps (6) fix the frame (4, 5) to the legs (3). The angle strap (6) may be welded in position and lined up on the perpendicular. The ends (4a, 5a) of the frame may be shaped to abut against the external faces of the leg (3). The depth of the leg notch (13) is equal to the depth of the table leaf (2) plus the depth of the leg closing plate (14).
