Abstract

The frame (1, 2) is in the form of an inverted L having a flange projecting inwards on its upright portion (1b, 2b). This flange is perpendicular to the upright and carries a dovetail section (5) on its underface; the dovetail running parallel to the sides and with its widest portion at the bottom. After cutting to size and mitering the ends to form a 90 deg. corner, each dovetail is pushed into a similar shaped groove (8, 9) in a 90 deg. corner piece (3). This piece fits inside the frame section and cannot be seen in use. The assembly is locked together by screws inside (6, 7) the corner piece.
