Abstract

The tap changer has two resistor contacts (10, 11), rigidly connected with and insulated from each other. Each of them is permanently in contact with a fixed tap contact (1, 2) arranged sector-like on the cylinder wall. One of the contacts is in its rest position in contact with an allocated resistor contact connected with the star point (7) through a resistor (3) each. A rotatable main contact (9) is connected to the star point, and is in its rest position in touch with a moving resistor contact. It is rotated during tap changing to the other resistor contact, and carries it until it is in touch with the other fixed contact.
